SIGNIFICANT EVENT NOTICE

Thank you for being a valued customer of Webmatic. We are extremely thankful for your continued business.

In 2019, cPanel changed its pricing structure from a per-server fee to a per-cPanel account fee, which caused a massive jump in the cost of providing your web hosting service. In addition, the price per cPanel account has continued to increase every year since.

More importantly, the legacy hardware upon which your website is currently hosted, has reached end-of-life (in technology terms that means it is no longer supported by the manufacturer).

In order to ensure that every product remains viable and up to our technical standard, we will be discontinuing all VentraIP legacy web hosting plans and migrating to a new server base.

The end date for these services will be Friday 25 March 2022.

What do you need to do?

Before this date, we will need to take action to move your service to a more appropriate platform. You have the option to instruct us to simply cancel the service if you no longer need it.

Option 1 - Let us migrate your website quickly and easily to the new server

At the time of writing this, for some of our customers this has already been completed. 

We have updated pricing and list of features that can quickly and easily show you the cost per service. We will be in touch with full details regarding the booking of your website migration.

Note that customers with Weebly websites are unable to move to this new server platform. Please see here for details and options.

Some of the benefits of the new hosting platform are:

  • The ability for our customers to log into their cPanel/web hosting service: access webmail, manage email addresses etc, file manager, install Wordpress and other apps.
  • Brand new, state-of-the-art hosting infrastructure.

  • Access to our local 24/7 support team by phone, ticket and live chat.

Your new web hosting account has been customised to your needs.

Option 2 - Cancel the service
If you are no longer actively using the service then we encourage you to cancel it as soon as possible. This will allow us to terminate it on our servers and save us both from unnecessary costs.
